CADPIPE Industrial 3D is driven by user-definable specifications allowing you to modify the specs provided by CADPIPE or to build your own for each project. When a material specification is selected, the program finds the information defined in the spec and selects the appropriate material, connection, schedule, fittings and valves as you draw, automatically changing specifications as the pipe size changes.
   

Section Views:

CADPIPE's 3D models enable you to utilize AutoCAD 2005 / 2006 automatic sectioning capabilities and allow all drafted output to be generated from a single 3D model. The clipping planes and layout tools instantly create dynamically linked plans and section views at any scale from a single drawing.

Automatic Isometric Fabrication Drawings:

Shop fabrication drawings are a snap with the Automatic Isometric feature. From your 3D model you can automatically create isometrics, label the isometric, and place a detailed bill of material report on the drawing. To generate an even more detailed isometric drawing, create a Universal Data Exchange (UDE) file of your 3D model and then use it to automatically create an isometric in the CADPIPE ISO program

Convenient Editing Tools:

CADPIPE Industrial 3D has a complete set of easy access editing tools. The Move, Copy, and Erase commands quickly edit pipe, fittings, and structural items while preserving the intelligence assigned to each item. The Query feature lets you look up information about each 3D item and place important text information on the drawing.

Collision Warning and Correction :

CADPIPE Industrial 3D has two collision checking feature, which examine any area or the entire model for error-free designs. Interactive Collision Checking looks for interference with 3D objects as the pipe system is being drawn. If there is a collision, you are altered and given a recommendation to correct the problem.
